IN2YOU is a body + mind + emotion + spirit exploration created to help you put your SELF first, via movement, love, levity and compassion. The IN2YOU program is designed to help you explore what is actually happening to your four realms, body + mind + emotion + spirit, as you dance and move. Oftentimes, a fitness or dance class is approached from the quantitative angle, i.e, how many calories were burned, how many miles were done, how much weight was lifted, etc. IN2YOU minimizes quantity, in essence, eliminates “competition” or “getting it right,” and maximizes quality, self-healing, and purpose.
We learn, through physical movement, what causes us to retract and what causes us to expand. We learn what we tend to resist and what enables us to flow through the use of imagery. We learn about our feelings, attitudes and self-negative beliefs and how to accept ourselves and how to refuse thoughts and patterns that do not serve us. We learn how to reject negative thought patterns and how to repair our precious SELF by creating an intentional personal philosophy. Energy follows intention. We allow our bodies, minds, emotions and spirits to expand and transform through movement. In addition to moving the body, we take the time in the present moment to reflect and analyze what is happening with our four realms by journaling the experience. Journaling allows us to capture the moment via thoughts and words and taps into the sub-conscious, allowing us to reveal us to ourselves on a deep and more meaningful level.
The IN2YOU workshop experience connects you to your SELF and to your current environment, taking into consideration that the human body + mind + emotion + spirit energy is deeply connected to the world around you. Each workshop is designed to carry you through each season and provides a continuity of awareness and growth. Nesting IN2YOU is the first of a series of four quarterly workshops, each with music and movement that align with the seasonal energy, and is followed by Springing IN2YOU, Shining IN2YOU, and Falling IN2YOU. The series is designed, using movement and journaling, to carry you through the year and to become a touch point for you to return to each quarter to renew, rejuvenate, and refresh your body + mind + emotion + spirit energy. The end result will be a deeper love for your body, a newfound levity, and compassion for you. Join us and take a deep dive IN2YOU!
